Welcome to Cob Hollow, an organic farm,

building community through cob building.

Cob Hollow is a collection of earthen buildings built for education as well as practical use.  It is located on the property of Whistling Frog Farm, which specializes in organically grown fruits and vegetables. 

During the summer of 2009, we completed the bathhouse and begun work on our home.  A variety of people helped us with these two cobbing projects, but a huge thanks goes to Aaron, Alli, and Jack who dedicated their summer to helping achieve our dream.  We will begin cobbing again in the spring. 

For those interested in a summer long intensive learning and hands on experience with cob, we will have three uniquely compensated positions available at the farm.  Check back in the winter of 2010 for details.
